Floor covering plans
DESSO minimises waste by using architectural drawings to calculate the exact quantity of carpet needed on your vessel. We can also provide installation plans which will make life easier for the carpet fitters.
Project co-ordinator
DESSO can provide its clients with a project co-ordinator, whose involvement with new vessels or major refits may be especially valuable. The project co-ordinator enables deadlines to be met by liaising between shipping company, shipyard, contractors and sub-contractors, architects, interior designers, and logistics departments.
Installation
DESSO enjoys strong relationships with marine suppliers, and this means we are able to offer additional services such as the supply of hand-tufted carpets, rugs and entrance mats. We can also provide a complete fitting service, including adhesives, skirting and underlay, in line with International Maritime Organization (IMO) standards.
